MLnet's Annotated Basic Bibliography aims to be a distinguished compilation of publications which are most relevant in the areas of machine learning, knowledge discovery, case-based reasoning, and knowledge acquisition. As a basic bibliography it should contain landmark papers, as well as the most common/cited overview and introductory publications and thus enable users to find relevant information faster and acquire basic knowledge on an area more efficiently. The bibliography is organised along an ontology which should help to improve orientation. As a matter of fact, the current ontology is one point of view and is neither complete nor the only truth. To support us improving the ontology, you can comment on the ontology and suggest additions/changes via the Propose (sub-)area links on each of the bibliography pages. Furthermore, we invite you to propose publications for the bibliography. To do this, follow the Propose publication links, which are located on each of the bibliography pages, and fill in the proposal form. We will check each proposal carefully and notify you about the result. |
